Refund and cancellation policy
AI SpeedForce does custom project work. This page explains what happens if you cancel, and when money is refunded.
What you are buying
AI SpeedForce is the trading name of Poonam Devi, a sole proprietor. We do custom project work for businesses: AI agent engineering, retrieval (RAG) systems and automations.
This is not a digital product, a download or a subscription. Each project is scoped and built for one client, and our time goes into it from the day it starts. That is why refunds depend on how much work has been done, as this page explains.
Amounts, deposits and milestones are set in the proposal or statement of work (SOW) we both sign. If the signed proposal or SOW says something different from this page, the signed document wins.
Cancelling before work starts
If you cancel after signing but before we start work, we refund any money you have paid, less:
- any part of the deposit the signed proposal marks as non-refundable; and
- any third-party costs already incurred for your project.
Cancelling during a project
You can cancel a project at any point by telling us in writing. When you do:
- we stop work as soon as we receive your notice;
- work completed up to that point is billable, at the rates or milestone values in the signed proposal;
- if you have paid more than the value of the work completed, we refund the difference; and
- if you have paid less, we invoice the balance.
Any notice period in the signed proposal or SOW also applies.
After handover
Once a deliverable has been handed over and accepted, or passes the eval suite agreed for it, it is complete and is not refundable.
If a delivered system does not match what the proposal or SOW describes, tell us. We will fix it, which is how we deal with defects, rather than refunding the fee.
What happens to work already delivered
If a project is cancelled part way, we hand over the work completed to date: code, prompts, tool definitions, MCP servers and eval cases, in whatever state they are in. Once you have paid for that work, you own it, as set out in the terms.
Work we have not been paid for stays ours until it is paid for.
Deposits
Some projects start with a deposit. The signed proposal says how much it is, what it covers and whether any part of it is non-refundable. A deposit is counted toward the work done, so it is not charged on top of the fees for completed work.
Third-party costs are not refundable
AI model and API usage, hosting and software licenses are paid to other providers, usually through your own accounts. Costs already incurred with those providers cannot be refunded by us, whether or not the project continues. You can close or cancel those accounts at any time.
If we cancel
If we have to end a project for a reason that is not your fault, we hand over the work completed to date and refund anything you have paid beyond the value of that work.
If we end a project because an invoice is unpaid or because the terms were seriously broken, the termination section of the terms applies.
How to cancel or request a refund
Email support@aispeedforce.com from the address you use for the project. Include:
- your name and company;
- which project, and the date of the proposal or SOW; and
- whether you are cancelling, asking for a refund, or both.
We confirm your request in writing and respond with a statement of work completed and any amount due either way within 30 days. An agreed refund is paid by bank transfer, or by the same method you paid with, within 30 days of us both agreeing the amount.
